Summer School 2015 ends with record
For the 4th time the Bayreuth International Summer School (BISS) opened its gates! Organized by the Campus Academy in corporation with the International Office this year’s Summer School took place from July 6th - 18th and ended with a new record for the number of participants.
In between the three intensive courses about Economics & Management, Material Science & Energy and African Studies lots of cultural events and excursions, for example trips to Berlin and Bamberg, were made. The demanding contents of the courses were managed and taught by international guestlecturers from seven different countries – thereby an intercultural and international learning setting for all participants could be established. Once more the internationality of the BISS was a further possibility for the hosting chairs of the University of Bayreuth to intense university relationships and research cooperations.
We were very happy to hear the overwhelming positive feedback and are looking back to unforgettable weeks, where not only new friendships but also longlasting memories were made. It was a pleasure to have you as our guests - thank you!
